Return & Exchange Policy
We value your business and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. The following policy outlines how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled for both in-store and online purchases.
In-Store Purchases – Returns & Exchanges
Return Window
Products must be returned within 30 calendar days of the purchase date shown on your receipt.
Proof of Purchase
- - A receipt is required for all returns, exchanges, or refunds.
- - No receipt = no refund, no exchange, and no store credit.
Item Condition Requirements
- Items must be new, unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, with all:
- Tags
- Manuals
- Accessories
- Documentation
- Items showing signs of wear, use, or damage cannot be returned or exchanged.
Refund & Exchange Options
Qualifying items returned in original condition may be:
- Exchanged
- Returned for store credit
- Refunded to the original method of payment, minus applicable fees.
Restocking Fees
- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returned items.
- If the item has been opened but remains unused, a 20% open-box fee may apply, totaling up to 35% in fees.
- Fees may be waived at the discretion of store management depending on item condition.
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and legal reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Opened tents, screen houses, and dining canopies
- Food products
- Hydration products (canteens, bottles, filters)
- Gift cards
- Special orders or custom-configured items
- Ammunition (all sales final)
- Electronic optics, sights, and similar gear
- Products marked "As-Is", "Used", or previously installed/used
- Items missing original packaging or tags, or visibly damaged packaging
Warranty Claims
Products covered under manufacturer warranty must be serviced directly through the manufacturer. We’re happy to help connect you with them if needed.
Online Purchases
- Online purchases may be returned in-store, provided they meet our Return & Exchange Requirements.
- Inventory listed online may differ from in-store availability. Some items are exclusive to online or in-store.
- Prices and availability may change without notice.
Special Orders
- Require a 50% deposit at the time of order.
- Balance is due upon arrival.
- Items not picked up within 30 days of notification may be returned to inventory and deposit forfeited.
Ammunition Sales
- Must be 18+ for rifle/shotgun ammo and 21+ for handgun ammo.
- All ammunition sales comply with Local, State, and Federal laws.
Return Evaluation
Everything Outdoor Camping and Tactical reserves the right to evaluate all returns and apply fees or denial based on item condition and policy compliance.
On-Line Web Purchases – Returns & Exchanges
To return an online purchase, YOU MUST CONTACT US PRIOR TO SENDING THE PRODUCT BACK.
All returns and warranty requests require a Return Authorization Number (R.A.#), which must be obtained in writing from the Everything Outdoor Camping Returns Department.
Online Purchases
- Online purchases may be returned in-store, provided they meet our Return & Exchange Requirements.
- Inventory listed online may differ from in-store availability. Some items are exclusive to online or in-store.
- Prices and availability may change without notice.
Once an R.A.# is issued:
- Clearly write the R.A.# on the outside of the return box.
- Do not write directly on the product packaging.
- The Returns Department will provide you with the most efficient return instructions.
Items returned without a valid R.A.# may be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee, or may be refused and returned to sender at your expense.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a verified error or a damaged item upon delivery.
Please allow 5–10 business days for processing after the return is received and inspected.
Returns that do not meet our standard conditions (unopened, unused, original packaging) may be subject to additional fees or denied.
Firearm Sales Policy
Due to federal regulations and the nature of firearm sales, the following policy applies:
All firearm sales are final. Once a firearm is transferred to the buyer (completed background check and Form 4473), it cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for any reason.
Defective Firearms: Any firearm that is defective must be handled through the manufacturer’s warranty. We are happy to assist in connecting you with the manufacturer for warranty service.
Cancellations Before Transfer: If you choose to cancel your firearm purchase before the transfer process is complete, a 20% cancellation fee will apply. This covers administrative and restocking costs.
Background Check Denials: If you are denied during the background check, a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. This policy is non-negotiable.
Special Orders: All special-order firearms require a non-refundable 50% deposit. These orders cannot be canceled once submitted.
Used Firearms: All used firearms are sold as-is and are non-returnable.
Pickup Deadline: Items that have not been picked within 90 days of initial contact, without prior approval will be considered “ABANDONED” item(s). The firearms will be sold to cover storage and safekeeping fees and no compensation will be due to the original owner.
Legal Compliance Statement
Everything Outdoor Camping & Tactical adheres to all Federal Firearms Regulations and State of Ohio laws regarding firearm transfers. We reserve the right to refuse a transfer if the item is prohibited or if legal documentation is incomplete or inaccurate.
