Out-of-State, Online Purchase & Person-to-Person Firearm Transfers
Are you purchasing a firearm from an online retailer or an out-of-state dealer? Is a relative or other individual sending you a firearm from another state? Do you need assistance with an approved person-to-person firearm transfer?
Everything Outdoor Camping & Tactical is a Federal Firearms Licensee providing firearm and FFL transfer services in Medina, Ohio. We can receive an approved firearm shipment and complete the required transfer process with you at our Medina Square training and service center.
Firearm transfers and pickups are handled by appointment.
Please read the transfer requirements and policies below before arranging shipment of a firearm to our location. Do not ship or have a firearm shipped to us without our prior knowledge and the required transfer information.
Before Your Firearm Is Shipped
Everything Outdoor Camping & Tactical accepts approved firearm transfers from active Federal Firearms License holders and, when permitted, individuals who provide the required identification and transfer information.
We will communicate directly with the transferring FFL dealer when licensing or other documentation is required. We do not provide a copy of our Federal Firearms License directly to customers.
Please have the requested customer and sending-dealer information available before completing the transfer request form below.
After Your Firearm Arrives
Once the firearm has been received and entered into our records, we will contact you. Email is our primary method of communication. Please allow approximately 24 to 48 hours after delivery for processing and notification.
Please do not arrive for pickup simply because the carrier shows that the shipment has been delivered. Wait until we have contacted you and confirmed that your firearm is ready for transfer.
After notification, we will schedule a convenient appointment for you to complete the required paperwork and transfer process in person. A background check cannot be completed before the firearm has been received and processed.
Important Shipping & Transfer Information
DO NOT SHIP LOADED FIREARMS OR LOADED MAGAZINES. Ammunition may only be included with prior approval.
- Use durable packaging and adequate protective material. The original firearm box is preferred when available. Please do not use packing peanuts.
- Obtain and retain your shipment tracking number. Customers are responsible for tracking incoming shipments.
- We recommend insuring firearms during shipment. Everything Outdoor Camping & Tactical is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring during shipment.
- We do not accept non-serialized firearms for transfer.
- Transfers will only be completed when permitted by applicable federal, state, and local law and when all required identification and documentation requirements are satisfied.
- We do not accept NFA firearm transfers, including Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs) or Short-Barreled Shotguns (SBSs). Learn more about NFA firearms.
Firearm Transfer Fees
Firearm transfer fee: $35.00 per item.
Transfers stored for more than 30 days are subject to storage fees of $2.00 per day per handgun and $3.00 per day per long gun.
Items that have not been picked up within 90 days of our initial notification, without prior arrangements, may be considered abandoned in accordance with our transfer and storage policies.
